Empowering children through a UNICEF Rights Approach
In my extensive headship experience, I've empowered staff to make a difference. I’ve designed innovative, authentic curriculums. I’m passionate about children being active participants in their learning and becoming responsible global citizens. I’m currently an adviser on children’s rights and an assessor for UNICEF.

Authentic and relevant learning has been at the heart of my teaching philosophy. I've designed and led on curriculum matters in each of my schools. One of my curriculum designs has been used across a county and published as an exemplar by an Ofsted company. I have also used my interest in curriculum to develop and drive a group of 8 schools, CRE8, with a focus on innovative and authentic learning. As a headteacher and leader I have supported a range of schools in the creation and development of bespoke curriculums. I am a skilled coach who can support the leadership team offering a range of curriculum advice and support.
As a passionate advocate for children's rights, giving students a real and authentic opportunity to use their voice is an area of expertise that I can support schools with. My previous school was the first in the country to achieve a Gold Raising Attainment through Wellbeing Award. In my last Ofsted Personal Development was judged outst
As a passionate advocate for children's rights, giving students a real and authentic opportunity to use their voice is an area of expertise that I can support schools with. My previous school was the first in the country to achieve a Gold Raising Attainment through Wellbeing Award. In my last Ofsted Personal Development was judged outstanding.
I am currently a Children's Rights Adviser, and am supporting schools and settings on this incredible journey. As a UNICEF Silver Assessor, I am also involved in the accreditation of schools.
My leadership has been based on encouraging and valuing the skills and attributes of others and empowering them. I have mentored headteachers and carried out headteacher appraisals.
I can offer a range of bespoke support for headteachers. This includes leadership mentoring, support writing SEFs and School Improvement Plans, Headteacher appraisal, safeguarding and child and staff wellbeing.
